West Coast IPA
This beer is an homage to all those old school bitter and piney beasts. West Coast IPAs are the OG of the hoppy beer world. Handsomely hopped with Centennial, Columbus, and Simcoe hops, with just enough malt back bone to ease the bite, you will be coming back for more.
Generous additions of Citra and Mosaic to give just enough of that tropical fruit goodness, with slight residual sweetness and clean finish. Go ahead and try to have just one, we dare you! New England IPAs, those hazy little juice bombs with alcohol.
Orange Creamsicle Sour
Orange. Vanilla. Sour. This doesn’t really
need to say much more than that. Citrus
and acid notes combine with the flavor of
sweet vanilla to make a supremely
drinkable beer. It’ll remind you of summer
days as a kid with hints of hangovers
We may not be traditional people, but that
doesn’t mean we can’t make a delicious
traditional beer. This ale is inspired by
hundreds of years of German brewing.
This Hefe is light and clean, with notes of
clove, banana, and bubblegum.
Amber beers are just a staple. Clean,
crisp, and balance are some words that
come to mind. Dark red in color, with
some caramel notes, and light hops notes
on the finish make this a killer amber!
Everybody knows a good ole milk stout.
Sweet and roasty, with a nice full body.

So wrap your lips around one of these
delicious beers, and feel the darkness
enter your heart!

Did you know George Washington is credited with the first pumpkin beer?Neither did we. This lager is mildly seasoned with traditional pumpkin pie spices. Pairs well with cooler weather, good friends, sports and campfires.
German Style Festbier
Put on your Lederhosen and let’s party! This beer is light in color, with a medium bready malt backbone and a crisp refreshing finish. We figured if it's good enough to be the beer of oktoberfest, it's good enough for us. Prost!
With the holidays coming up, we think everyone could use a little extra cheer. We just try to deliver it in liquid form. This spiced brown ale is full, robust, and delicious enough to take your mind off all your obligations, if only for a moment. Let's all get together, raise one with friends and family, and help spread the Cheer!
Formerly a gypsy brewer, our Head Brewer, Pat Sullivan, decided to set his roots in Central Ohio with Heart State Brewing because he knew there was a market for his style of beer and when there's a demand, he must supply the need. Pat loves long runs (on the beach?), trucker hats and low budget movies.
Our team is the heart of our entire operation. The best part of coming to work for us is that we can visibly watch people enjoy a product that we put so much of our heart, time and effort into making. It doesn't get any better than that! We are a bunch of weirdos, but we care about each other and we care about people.
The Main Bartender at Heart State, Lucas, is always welcoming guests into not only his heart but also our taproom and pours a phenomenal pint. Based off experience, Lukey gives grand beer recommendations and loves watching Animal Planet. Stop by our taproom to catch a glimpse of what Lucas is pouring.
